The Role
The main focus of the Project Manager on special projects at Charity Search Group is to spearhead initiatives that enhance the firm’s operational efficiency, drive innovation in talent recruitment processes, and support the achievement of strategic goals. This includes managing projects that integrate technology into recruitment, fostering diversity and inclusion within the recruitment process, and supporting the overall mission of the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure all milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of various projects.
  • Oversee candidate sourcing, screening, and selection processes for recruitment projects.
  • Lead and manage ad hoc projects, including research, process improvement, and client-specific initiatives.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in all project activities.
  • Track and report on project progress and outcomes.

Requirements

Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in executive search or talent recruitment.
  • Familiarity with the unique needs and challenges of the nonprofit sector.
