Position Summary: The Director of Affinity & Generational Engagement is a leader on the Alumni Engagement team in the Office of University Advancement at William & Mary. Alumni Engagement ensures that all W&M alumni are engaged, involved, represented, and encouraged to be active with, informed about, and supportive of William & Mary.
The Director of Affinity & Generational Engagement reports to the Executive Director for Alumni Success and is responsible for engagement and event programming for a portfolio of alumni and students based on their class and affinity affiliations. The Director’s areas of oversight include strategic program development & management as well as volunteer management; the Director will develop and execute strategies that maximize and leverage in-person and virtual alumni engagement opportunities that encourage greater connections between alumni and to alma mater. The Director is responsible for the oversight of program documentation, metrics, analysis, annual reporting activity and budgeting, which includes management of university and William & Mary Alumni Association funds. The Director leads a team and collaborates with colleagues across University Advancement and campus.

Advertised Pay Range: Up to $78,500, commensurate with experience
