Westchester Anxiety Treatment Psychological Services, PC (WATPS) is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join its collaborative and hard working group of clinicians. WATPS is a group private practice in White Plains, NY whose clinicians are enthusiastic about providing evidenced-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to children, adolescents and adults.

About the Job Opportunity

The WATPS team specializes in individual and group CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), behavior therapy for selective mutism, school refusal, intensive treatment for OCD, and mindfulness-based interventions. Our team runs Club Confidence, a week-long intensive program for children with selective mutism and CBT social anxiety groups for children, teens, and college students. We also regularly conduct workshops on anxiety, parenting, and child development in the community for students, teachers, therapists and parents. The postdoctoral fellow will have opportunities to have both training and didactics in our specialized programs.

Experience & Qualifications

We are looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow who has experience conducting cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety disorders and disruptive behavior disorders and would like further specialized training in these areas. The applicant must have experience treating children with anxiety disorders using CBT. The applicant should come from an APA accredited PHD/PSYD graduate program in clinical psychology.
