DZ Driver (Residential Waste Truck)
Job Summary
Our Client is currently seeking a dedicated DZ Driver to join their team. As a DZ Driver, you will play a vital role in waste management by driving either a Rear-Pack Garbage Truck or a Side Loader Recycle Truck, picking up various types of residential curbside waste, and delivering excellent customer service.
Location:Tecumseh / Windsor
Shift Details:
- Tuesday to Friday
- Starting at 5:30 AM
- 0-12 hour shifts
Pay Rate:
$24.04 per hour
Requirements:
- Valid DZ license.
- Clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract.
- 2 years of experience driving both manual and automatic trucks
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Proficiency in driving and loading trucks
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Steel-toed work boots above the ankle
Responsibilities:
- Drive a Rear-Pack Garbage Truck or Side Loader Recycle Truck
- Collect various types of residential curbside waste including garbage, yard waste, organics, and recycling
- Conduct and post-shift vehicle inspections
- Provide excellent customer service and complete assigned routes efficiently
- Lift up to 50lbs from the ground into the hopper repeatedly
- Dispose of collected waste at local transfer stations and landfills
We have a couple of locations with open roles. I have included the intersections as follows:
- Deziel Dr. & Kautex Dr.
- Tecumseh Rd. W. & Crawford Ave.
