Job Opportunity: Assistant Professor in Macroeconomics

The Department of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in:

1. Macroeconomics of Inequality
2. Macroeconomics and Environmental Issues

Other specializations will not be considered.

The ideal candidate will contribute teaching and mentoring excellence to serve our graduate program and our large and highly diverse undergraduate major. The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service as appropriate to the position.

This is a full-time 100% appointment position with a proposed start date of July 1, 2025.
