POSITION PROFILE

POSITION TITLE : Site Superintendent and Foreman (High-end Residential Construction) - Two positions
REPORTING TO : Principal
LOCATION : Most projects are in San Francisco, some are in North Bay, Wine Country. Office in Novato.

We are General Contractors and Real Estate Developers. WLG is a California licensed general contractor and property developer. Our team is dedicated to finding innovative solutions to any problem or challenge. We have changed how the construction industry currently operates by introducing a start-up mentality as well as lean processes.

These are full-time, salaried positions with benefits.

Site Superintendent:
We are looking for a Site Supervisor with experience in high-end residential construction. 10+ years in a supervisory position in remodels or new home construction. Familiarity with construction software and applications, particularly Procore for project management and MS Project or Smartsheet for scheduling.

Responsibilities

1. Project Organization: Direct workflow consistent with the project schedule, communicate project priorities, maintain a daily diary of activities, manage punch lists, and closeout processes.
2. Construction Operations: Collaborate with the project manager to formulate a master project schedule and ensure proper methods and sequences of installation.
3. Subcontractor Relations: Maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and ensure job site safety.
4. Risk Management: Maintain daily documentation, communicate potential change orders, and identify issues early.
5. Project Safety: Understand and implement the company's safety program, conduct weekly site safety meetings, and report all incidents.

Construction Jobsite Foreman:
We are seeking an experienced foreman to oversee project construction progress and quality control. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

1. Able to read construction documents and plans.
2. Excellent communication skills with contractors, architects, engineers, and city inspectors.
3. Maintain construction schedule and job site management.
4. Ensure quality standards are met.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in residential construction, with ground-up and remodel experience required.
