Job Description: Medical Oncologist/Hematologist

Functions as a member of the clinical patient care team performing tasks and procedures consistent with the training and licensure of a medical oncologist/hematologist.

1. Largest hospital on the Southern Coast of Oregon
2. 127 beds, Level III trauma
3. Quality-focused partnership with Oregon Health and Sciences University
4. Internal medicine and surgery residents
5. A full scope of services that includes cardiology, radiology, cancer care, emergency care, surgical care (including bariatrics and robotics), critical care, a birthing center, inpatient psychiatry, wound care, hyperbaric medicine, primary care, pediatrics, and home health
6. Hospitalist Team
7. Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primary PCI
8. BAH Cancer Center is accredited as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Care Program including the Tumor Registry
9. State-of-the-art equipment, investment in new technologies
10. Epic electronic health record
11. Onsite Employee Health and Wellness Clinic
