Job Title: Network Solutions Architect
Location: Washington, DC or Boston, MA
Job Type: 1-Year Contract
Citizenship Requirements: U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders Only
Position Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Network Solutions Architects for an on-site role in the Washington, DC or Boston, MA areas. The position requires in-office work 3 days a week, with the option to work remotely for 2 days. This is a 1-year contract opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $85 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design network solutions that meet enterprise-level requirements, utilizing Cisco, Palo Alto, and Ruckus technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement scalable network solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for the design, deployment, and support of network infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and products to improve network performance, scalability, and security.
- Ensure network architecture aligns with organizational standards and business goals.
- Support the engineering team with hands-on technical expertise in troubleshooting, configuration, and performance optimization.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in network engineering and architecture, with a progression from an engineering role to an architect level.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in networking technologies, including Cisco , Palo Alto , and Ruckus is required.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures for enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of network security, routing, switching, and wireless networking.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
- Experience working in both on-site and remote work environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Work Schedule:
- On-site 3 days per week in the DC or Boston area office.
- Remote work available for 2 days per week.
