Guthrie Cortland Medical Center seeks a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist for our expanding team.

Practice Highlights:

Practice in a hospital with four operating rooms.
Anesthesia Care Team Model is used.
A broad spectrum of cases except cardiac, thoracic, and neurosurgery. Lots of Regional Anesthesia.
The anesthesia Department manages the OR schedule
75% of your time doing your cases, 25% of your time medically directing CRNAs or teaching Residents
Robust EHR (EPIC 10-star health system, top 1% of EPIC organizations)

$454,000 to $540,000 total annual compensation

Allowance for licensure fees, DEA certification, and renewals
$10,000 referral bonus if you refer a physician that we hire on a full-time basis, $20,000 if the physician is an Anesthesiologist

$3,400 annually for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies
Teaching - Guthrie has seven residency programs, including the Anesthesiology Residency. Guthrie is a regional campus of the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
