Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Senior Security Engineer to fill an open position with a Fortune 15 company based in the greater Seattle area. This role involves improving and expanding the security of cloud and on-prem infrastructure through security controls and tools, leveraging both Microsoft security products and custom tooling. You will lead efforts across Microsoft’s organizations to raise the bar for protecting the Microsoft cloud and on-prem infrastructure, focusing on creating settings internally to address security risk gaps. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact security projects and drive automation towards secure-by-default environments.

In this role you will:

• Create configuration settings for various platform technologies to secure Microsoft.
• Develop security baselines aligning with high-level security requirements.
• Lead efforts to bring alignment on standards, processes, and technologies used to secure cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Identify systemic areas of opportunity, define plans to close gaps, and gain buy-in from teams.
• Push for automation and drive towards secure-by-default environments.

The Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of experience in the field.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud security.
• 5+ years of experience with network security/OS server security.
• 5+ years of experience with identity and access management.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to create security requirements or baselines.
• Experience in technical program/product management, software engineering, or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience in cloud and on-prem infrastructure, platforms, and security operations.
• General cybersecurity experience with a focus on security configuration and tooling to operate at scale.
