Our client based in Farnham is looking for a candidate to join their die casting area. This position will be a temp to perm for the right candidate.
The role will involve setting and operating the machines.
Role description:
• Set and operate cold chamber and hot chamber die casting machines
• Responsible for monitoring the quality of parts
• Informing supervisor promptly if defects are found
• Setting and operating hydraulic press tools to clip parts and remove excess material
• Ensuring correct PPE is used at all times
• Melting aluminium and zinc in holding furnaces
• Undertake training in other areas as required
• Work in a team of four die casters
• Installing heavy tools in and out of the machine using hoists
