Job Summary
Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join our growing team. Randstad provides full life cycle services to multiple clients for the development of electronic products across multiple industries. This project is for a global developer and manufacturer of high-quality fire protection, auto-dimming mirrors, and windows for the automotive, aerospace, and commercial fire protection industries with facilities in the Zeeland, MI area.
Responsibilities
The Mid-level Systems Engineer with apprentices with the Senior Radio Frequency Engineers to learn and ultimately be responsible for system-level design activities as part of a team for the design, development, and implementation of high-performance radios for Sub GHz, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi applications for such product features including cabin monitoring features such as head and eye detection, drowsiness, distracted driver, presence detection, child detection, video conferencing. This includes system requirements and system architecture, but also oversight of the system test activities. You will learn a broad base of knowledge in RF design for wireless communications, specifically focused on applying integrated RF transceivers and associated antenna design with direct experience training in radio transceiver application is required, with experience in LNA, mixer, VCO, synthesizer, and PA
Job responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Develop system requirements and interface requirements.
- Maintain traceability of system requirements to customer requirements.
- Ensure traceability of system requirements to detailed requirements.
- Develop system architecture.
- Maintain traceability of system architecture to system requirements.
- Ensure traceability of system requirements to system test.
- Perform/support System FMEA.
- Follow system engineering processes.
- Ensure system development and validation are according to ASIL ISO26262 and ASPICE.

Job Requirements
• 5 - 10 years experience with embedded systems engineering (HW and SW)
• Experience in automotive applications and applicable interfaces such as CAN, FlexRay, and LIN networks
• Willingness to learn and complete and apprenticeship program
• Experience with ISO26262 and FUSA
• Experience developing in DOORs system requirements and interface documents
• Experience performing system FMEA
• Experience developing and documenting system architectures
