Job Title: Process Engineer
Job Location: West Columbia, SC
Duration: 12 months
Essential Responsibilities
• Analyze the current PFD state and provide the Future State Outputs to Maximize efficiency.
• Conduct the implementation of fixtures and various tooling activities ensuring completion of all measurement system analysis qualification requirements per customer standards.
• Facilitate and coordinate design change initiatives.
• Develop standard operating procedures where required.
• Complete ergonomic studies where applicable.
• Process improvements support and CAPA resolutions.
• Conduct time and motion studies for processing line balancing.
• Support the coordination of product life cycle activities.
• Ability to update CAD, Solid Works, Pro-E files where applicable.
• Develop and communicate project reports to senior level staff members.
• Support, prepare, and help execute DOE’s per the Matrix output.
Qualifications/Requirements
• B.S in Engineering, Technical Practice, or Equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, quality, or Production and Manufacturing Operations.
• Ability to support the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Is a self-starter and can execute assigned projects with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Computers using Microsoft Products, Excel, Power Point, and Word.
• Experience with PCBA applications and processes.
Desired Characteristics
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Capability to work in teams
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
• CAD, Solid Works, or Pro-E proficiency.
