Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Taneytown, MD
Are you a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking a rewarding full-time position for the upcoming school year? Soliant Health is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity to join our team in Taneytown, Maryland. We are looking for a motivated SLPA to provide essential support in a school setting, helping students achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized therapy plans designed to address students' speech and language needs
• Provide direct therapy to students, either one-on-one or in small groups, in accordance with IEP goals and objectives
• Document and maintain accurate records of students' progress and participation in therapy sessions
• Assist in developing materials and resources to support therapy activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other relevant stakeholders to promote effective communication strategies and carry over therapy goals into classroom and home environments
Qualifications:
• Maryland state SLPA licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
