Description
Endeavor Schools at Kinderhouse Montessori is currently seeking a Lead Montessori Teacher for their lower elementary classroom. This role involves implementing a curriculum in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment that supports each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth and development.
Benefits
• $1,000 Hiring Bonus payable in 3 installments:
• $250 payable after 60 days of full-time employment
• $250 payable after 120 days of full-time employment
• $500 payable after 6 months of full-time employment
• Employee must be in good standing at the time of payout.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate classroom activities.
• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons while adhering to the Montessori Model.
• Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching.
• Encourage and assist in positive social interactions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Experience And Education
• AMI or AMS certification required.
• Knowledgeable about Montessori philosophy and materials.
• Experience working in a certified child development center.
• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
