We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and working with young children, as well as a deep understanding of child development and early childhood education. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating learning environment, developing lesson plans, and providing guidance to students. We are looking for an individual who is patient, organized, and creative in their approach to teaching.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement lesson plans that are appropriate for the age and development of the children.
• Create a safe and stimulating learning environment for children.
• Monitor and assess the progress of each child in the classroom.
• Provide guidance to children in developing social skills, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Maintain a positive relationship with parents and guardians of the children in the classroom.
• Provide support to other staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children in a formal early childhood education setting. Will consider a mix of education and experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English both written and verbal.
• Ability to also communicate in Spanish not required but preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and to maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Must be able to use computer for communication and instruction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
