Salary: $200.00 per day
Directly Responsible To: Building Principal
Minimum Qualifications
• Must hold a valid Washington State teaching certificate
• Successful substitute teaching experience preferred but not required
Major Tasks And Responsibilities
• Follow all lesson plans and other instructions provided by the regular teacher and/or school
• Assume responsibility for duties assigned to the regular teacher
• Provide instruction and modify instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students
• Demonstrate effective classroom management
• Create a safe and positive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Foster a positive attitude with students, parents and staff
• Utilize effective human relations and/or communication skills
• Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned
