http://Town of East Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority Notice of Job Vacancy The East Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) is accepting applications for the Superintendent position at the WPCF. This is a very challenging position with responsibility for a 2.5 MGD facility consisting of approx. 40 miles of sewer and force main and 10 sewage pumping stations. The Superintendent works directly for the WPCA and reports to the Chairman of the WPCA. The WPCA functions as its own entity and performs pursuant to Section 22a-430 of the Connecticut General Statutes (CGS) and Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies (RCSA) Per section 402(b) of the Clean Water Act. The Superintendent is responsible for the Operation, Maintenance, Repair and Replacement of the Water Pollution Control Facility, Collection system and Pumping Stations. This is a salary position with the Superintendent working 37.5 hrs per week. Normal hours are 7.00 a.m to 3.00 p.m Mon to Thur, and 7 a.m to 12.30 p.m on Fridays. The salary range is $80,000 to $120,000 annually. The position comes with an excellent benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage, paid sick time, 13 Holidays, 3 personal days, a pension plan and comp time for hrs worked in excess of 37.5 hrs per week Candidates for the position must have a CT Class III Wastewater Operator License, A Class IV is preferred. NEWEA Class IV Collections Systems Certification. ABC or NEWEA Class One Laboratory Analyst Certification. Interested candidates should have a minimum of 8 years supervisory experience at a Class III or higher WPCF. A degree in Science, Engineering or Management is required, A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
