The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is a fast-track, entry-level role designed to prepare you for Store Management within 18-24 months. Following Sherwin-Williams' promote-from-within policy, you'll have the opportunity to advance to an Assistant Store Manager position after completing an initial 8-week training period.
This role typically requires a 44-hour workweek, which may include evenings and weekends.
During the program, you will work closely with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing leadership and insight into the store's development and strategy. You will learn all aspects of operations, client relations, and internal strategy, equipping you with the knowledge to contribute significantly to the team's success. You will help expand the company’s market share by selling to large commercial clients such as painting contractors, purchasing agents, manufacturers, and other bulk users of our high-quality products.

Responsibilities:
• Complete training according to the established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build and maintain product knowledge for effective customer recommendations.
• Develop positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Maintain excellent store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Resolve customer and employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager for outside sales calls to increase market share.
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must have a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
• Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
• At least one year of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience working in team-oriented settings, including work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
• Experience selling paint and related products.
• Experience using timekeeping and/or CRM systems.
• Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
