Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Scientist to join our dynamic research team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing the applications of our RNA cargo and delivery systems for gene editing technology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research and development efforts in the field of in vivo gene editing.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments focused on the development and optimization of gene editors for our lead programs using both in vitro and in vivo systems
• Develop and implement new methodologies for efficient and precise gene editing in various primary cell and in vivo model systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate gene editing technologies into broader research and development projects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of gene editing and CRISPR technology, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the team.
• Prepare and present scientific findings in internal meetings, conferences, and peer-reviewed publications.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists and research associates, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.

Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field with a focus on gene editing technologies.
• Proven expertise in CRISPR-based gene editing, particularly with CRISPR nuclease development
• Strong background in molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA manipulation, cloning, gene expression analysis, and primary cell culture
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design and execute rigorous experiments.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary research environment.
• Experience with in vivo genome editing is highly desirable.
• Experience with off-target editing analysis is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in flow cytometry is highly desirable.
• A track record of scientific publications in peer reviewed journals is preferred.
