Role Description
Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Staff Coordinator at USC Arcadia Hospital located in Arcadia, CA. The role involves providing administrative support to the Medical Staff, including supporting medical staff meetings, preparing meeting minutes, sending out meeting notices, preparing oncall schedules, managing privileging, proctoring, OPPE, and FPPE processes, facilitating communications between medical staff members and hospital administration and a variety if other duties.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with credentialing processes and medical staff software (MDSTAFF)
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle sensitive and confidentially information
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
• Relevant certification (CPCS or CPMSM) preferred
• Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferredKnowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
