Job Summary

The incumbent supports the work of scientists and academic subject
matter experts, coordinating studies and performing administrative
tasks required to complete projects. The incumbent will play a
crucial role in the interdisciplinary Evans Allen project focused
on understanding childhood obesity risk factors and designing
effective marketing interventions. This position involves data
collection, analysis, and collaboration with a dynamic research
team.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Research Methodology:
• Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research
methods.
• Understanding of data collection techniques (surveys,
interviews, focus groups).
• Data Management and Analysis:
• Proficiency in organizing and managing research data.
• Ability to use statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R) for data
analysis.

Literature Review:
• Skill in conducting literature searches and summarizing
relevant findings.

Communication:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a research team.
• Interest in Public Health and / or Marketing
interventions:
• A genuine interest in childhood obesity prevention and health
promotion via marketing interventions.

Technical Proficiency:
• Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of data analysis tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Time-management skills
• Ability to commit to lengthy, complex projects

Essential Job Functions
• Collect and analyze data related to childhood obesity risk
factors.
• Conduct literature reviews and summarize relevant
findings.
• Assist in designing social marketing campaigns.
• Engage with stakeholders through workshops.
• Collaborate within the multidisciplinary research team

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in health, human development, psychology, or
business / marketing related fields.
• At least one year of project coordination, management or
related experience is preferred.
