JOB VACANCY STATUS: Full Time
Job Summary
As a member of Windsor Regional Hospital’s People and Culture Team, reporting to the Manager of Safety and Security, you will lead and coordinate the WSIB Administration and the Medical Accommodation Placement Process.
You will work strategically with Unit Leadership and the Human Resources Business Partners to develop positive working relationships, build engagement with our Union partners, provide claims management oversight and ensure compliance with policy and legislation.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead WSIB Claim Management
• Coordinate Medical Accommodation Placement Process
• Coordinate site visits with WSIB RTW Specialists
• Coordinate Sick & Accident activities including any appeals
• Support the Attendance Management Program
• Counsel local leadership in the administration of collective agreements and workplace policies
• Promote a positive working relationship with our staff and Union partners
• Conduct joint Workplace Investigations
• Liaison with WSIB and Insurance Carrier administration
• Other duties as assigned
Skills/Capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills in facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and work to plan
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• High integrity and proven ability to manage confidential information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• French Language proficiency an asset
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Previous experience working within a unionized environment is highly desired
• 5+ years WSIB experience
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in Human Resources required
