Tradewind is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in the Stalybridge area of Tameside.
Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Stalybridge, Tameside
Qualification: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Experience: Highly experienced candidates preferred
About the Role: As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher and enhancing the learning experience for students. Your expertise and dedication will help foster a positive and effective educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Provide one-on-one support to students who need additional help
• Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment
• Support students in their social and emotional development
• Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure the best educational outcomes
Requirements:
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Significant experience in a similar role, preferably within KS2
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to the educational and personal development of children
