Full Time : Temporary : Waste Operative Location: Whitby Hours: Monday to Friday 7am until 4.30pm with 2 half an hour breaks Gi Group are recruiting for an Industrial Recycling Operative for one of our clients based in the Whitby area. The Recycling Operative will join a team of people working for a company providing waste management and segregation services to customers. Key Duties: Segregation of large waste materials and bulky recyclables Following the instruction of the supervisor to ensure smooth running of the site Working as part of a small team to ensure smooth running of site To carry out any other duties required for the day-to-day safe operation of the site Ensure the site is hazard free, kept tidy and swept at all times, all wastes must be removed from grounds and placed within correct recycling storage bin Full training given to the right applicant who is keen to learn Personal Attributes and other Requirements: Good timekeeper Reliable and Hardworking Good Communication Skills Must be physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting involved- Industrial : Pickers : SB240404235705 - Scarborough : Whitby - North Yorkshire : Up to £11.44 per hour + Pension, Parking, Temp to Perm : GBP : per hour : Pension, Parking, Temp to Perm :
