The Hoya Fellow supervises the Administrative Assistant for the Division of Student Affairs, as well as graduate and undergraduate student staff members. In addition to a year-long assignment in a particular department of the Division of Student Affairs, each Assistant Program Coordinator has opportunities to interact with key administrators and faculty; to learn about various administrative areas of the university; and to participate in a series of leadership lunches and enrichment activities with leaders in the Georgetown University and higher education community. Georgetown University Assistant Program Coordinators are hired for a period of one year to work full time in the Division of Student Affairs under the supervision of a senior administrator. Assistant Program Coordinator roles are focused on either student engagement or student resources. Meaningful work assignments will include:• Program design, planning and implementation• Student outreach and engagement• Social media and communications strategy and implementation• Administrative and organizational support• Data collection, analysis and assessment• Collaborative planning for university events with departments across the university• Health and Wellness programming, education and initiativesRequirements And QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree from Georgetown University is preferred. The person in this position should have understanding and insight into the ways that Georgetown University undergraduate student culture and community is expressed and experienced by students, in order to provide targeted strategies for engagement.Work Mode and DesignationThis position has been designated as On-Campus.
