Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World® featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats & villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons®. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Key Responsibilities
• Onboarding new hires to all benefits portals. Maintain address changes, life changing events, pay increases and terminations.
• Tracks and communicates with Team Members regarding eligibility benefits and enrollment information for benefits
• Upload all information in UKG PRO(HRIS), ensure payroll deductions are accurate, run monthly reporting.
• Communicates with payroll regarding Team Members medical arrears balances.
• Conduct new hire benefit orientation weekly and monthly benefit information sessions.
• Process & track Team Members terminations and changes in UKG Pro and other platforms.
• Performs audits and reconciles on a biweekly basis; benefits in UKG, Unum and HRConnect.
• Manage yearly Open Enrollment sessions, organizing sessions, ensuring massive communication and participation are meet within deadlines.
• Act as main point of contact for all benefits inquiries, including internal policies and programs.
• Ensure compliance with related laws, rules, and regulations, such as HIPAA, billing compliance, and safety policies.
• Create emails, flyers, and other ways of communication for benefits information distribution to Team Members.
• Runs reports and tracks biannually status eligibility for Team Members benefits.
• Audit monthly invoices, tracks discrepancy and process invoice with accounts payable for payment
• Track and update 401K contribution and loan payments amounts in UKG.
• Maintains Team Member documentation into appropriate files (benefits folder, WC binder, invoices, etc.)
• Processes worker’s compensation injuries in the platform system (IRM) and ensures reporting occurs on a timely manner.
• Reviews and communicates return-to-work releases with management.
• Completes electronic wage statements for time lost cases.
• Maintains OSHA 300 log.
• Participates in the monthly safety committee meetings.
HIPPA, FMLA and Leaves of absence (STD • Administers FMLA and Team Member leave following policies & regulations.
• Processes documentation, completes paperwork, monitors leave and return dates.
• Track and communicate with Team Members regarding their leave eligibility, time of leave and return to work. (STD & LTD)
• Reviews and communicates return-to-work releases with management.
• Track arrears benefits payments and communicates with payroll during leave of absence.
• Understands law requirements for HIPPA, leaves of absence and accommodations of the American Disability Act.
All Other Duties
• Assists Team Members with UKG questions, password resets etc.
• Represent the HR team in a professional manner.
• In collaboration with HR Team, plan, coordinate and facilitate Team Member relations events including but not limited to: Team Member of the Month, Leader of the Quarter, End of Season Parties, Annual All Team Member Meetings, Team Member Appreciation Lunches, Summer Picnics, and Holiday Parties.
• Practice excellent telephone etiquette (smile in the voice, be alert, courteous, and helpful to our internal guests).
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality on Team Member/HR issues & guest relations.
• The ability to work various shifts or days of the week according to business needs, including weekends and holidays.
• Support other departments whenever possible through direct and indirect support.
• Performs customer service functions by answering Team Member requests and questions.
• Makes photocopies; emails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
• Files assigned documents into appropriate Team Member files (Worker’s compensation, leaves of absence, benefits related.)
• Provides administrative support when required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education, Skills, And Experience
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred in Human Resources benefit administration required.
• Looking for a Bilingual Specialist with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge and experience with UKG system (UltiPro & Kronos) human resources information system.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Google Business, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software.
• Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements
• Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 15 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
• Able to sit and use the computer for hours at a time.
• Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
• Visually look at a computer for extended periods.
• Repetitive hand motions, such as typing.
