Heathrow Area

Recruitable Staffing Solutions is excited to be recruiting for an experienced Freight Pricing Specialist on behalf of our client based in the Heathrow area.
The Role:
As a Freight Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the pricing and quoting process for both air and ocean freight shipments. Key duties will include:
• Analysing shipping rates, surcharges, and ancillary fees from carriers
• Developing competitive pricing models and quotes for customers
• Negotiating rates and terms with shipping providers
• Maintaining up-to-date pricing information and databases
• Providing pricing recommendations to the sales team
• Identifying opportunities to improve pricing strategies and margins
The Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Extensive experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with a focus on pricing
• In-depth knowledge of air and ocean freight pricing structures, surcharges, and accessorials
• Strong analytical and numerical skills to evaluate complex pricing data
• Excellent negotiation abilities to secure favorable rates with carriers
• The ability to work collaboratively with the sales and operations teams
• Familiarity with freight management software and pricing tools
