Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role with a reputable school district in the Burton, MI area. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of students, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
• Provide direct therapy and intervention services in accordance with each student’s IEP (Individualized Education Program).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.
• Conduct screenings to identify students at risk for speech and language delays.
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Michigan State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
• Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with students of diverse ages, backgrounds, and needs.
