PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
The City of Ada is accepting applications for the fulltime position of Director of Public Works. This position will be responsible to plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the public works division including streets, utility line maintenance, water and wastewater plants, solid waste, construction, garage, and airport; to coordinate assigned activities with other divisions and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager. Exercises direct supervision over management, supervisory, professional, technical and clerical staff.
Experience & Training: Six years of increasingly responsible public works, engineering, construction or other management experience including three years of management and administrative responsibility. Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university. Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
