We are in search of a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Backend Development and Typescript to play a key role in our company's technological development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and will be responsible for managing server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This professional will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application, so a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Backend Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include
• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
• Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
• Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Typescript development
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Knowledge of Typescript and Javascript frameworks.
• Strong proficiency with Typescript and Backend development.
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and superior time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) is a plus.
