You will work closely with Component Engineers, the Test and development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure global EMC compliance is adhered to. We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior EMC Engineer to join the Electrical/Electronic Systems Engineering Team. As part of this team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of pioneering electrical and electronic components for integration into their vehicles.

Key Responsibilities As Senior EMC Engineer
• Serve as the technical lead for Electromagnetic compatibility.
• Develop and manage specifications and documentation.
• Ensure components conform to applicable standards and requirements.
• Manage the component database in collaboration with Component Engineers.
• Oversee test plans with suppliers to meet stage gate deliverables and support reviews where necessary.
• Develop and follow best practice working procedures to support EMC activities.
• Create and publish EMC KPIs for component compliance status to the EES leadership team on a regular basis (monthly) for each project.
• Support component hardware reviews with suppliers when necessary.
• Chair the internal EMC working group with key stakeholders to maintain a robust and applicable EMC approach.
• Support whole vehicle EMC testing alongside our T&D team when necessary.

Qualifications And Skills As Senior EMC Engineer
• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. A Master s degree is preferred.
• Significant relevant experience in EMC within the automotive industry. Similar roles outside automotive will be considered.
• Extensive experience in EMC engineering, with a strong understanding of standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Experience with vehicle electrical architectures based on CAN systems is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in managing requirements and developing test plans.
• Experience with the full product life cycle from concept through to vehicle launch.
• Proven experience in delivering electrical systems and components.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and chair technical meetings.
