Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for a new role with a fantastic main dealership?
You will be joining a very friendly team at one of the UK’s leading dealership companies who are always wanting to help and work together to achieve the best results possible!
Main Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
• 42.5 hours a week
• Monday - Friday - 8am to 5:30pm
• Saturdays on a rota basis
• Salary between £27,000 - £38,000
• Uncapped bonus available as well
Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
• Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles
• Pre and post MOT repairs
• Carrying out MOT Tests (if qualified to do so)
• Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
• Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
• General maintenance and repairs
• Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
• Suspension work
• Repairs on lights
• Repairing and replacing exhausts
• Repairing and replacing clutches
• Dealing with gearboxes
• Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
• NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services
• Hold a full valid driver license.
• MOT Tester Certificate highly desirable but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Experience:
• UK Vehicle Technician: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
• UK Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Vehicle Main and Repair (required)

• MOT Test Certificate (preferred)
