Birmingham Public Schools Groves High School is seeking an Athletic Director beginning with the 2024-25 school year, who will be a strong leader and approachable communicator, and who is student-centered in his or her approach.
Demonstrated success in leading athletics program, an eagerness to authentically engage coaches and athletes, the ability to establish standards for sportsmanship and integrity, and a proven track record in establishing high expectations for comprehensive athletic programs are among the attributes the successful candidate should possess.
The athletic director is responsible for providing athletic programming, budget, calendar/scheduling, and all other duties as related to athletics at Groves High School.
