Over 600 caring staff, physicians and midwives provide excellent primary, acute and long-term care to citizens of Lanark County, West Ottawa and Renfrew County.Reporting to the V.P. Patient/Resident Care Services & Chief Nursing Executive (CNE), the primary purpose of this Temporary Full-time position is to ensure quality care within the Almonte General Hospital site inclusive of the Medical Surgical and Complex Continuing Care Units. The incumbent provides direction and leadership to the Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Personal Support Workers, Unit Clerks and all other personnel in providing evidence based, patient centered cared to our community. The incumbent works in close cooperation with the hospital administration, managers, all levels of nursing staff, health care professionals, patients, families, external agencies and organizations and various internal and external committees.
