Dedicated Hygienist Responsibilities:
• Perform dental hygiene procedures to promote oral health and prevent dental diseases
• Conduct patient screenings and medical history documentation
• Administer treatments such as cleanings, fluoride applications, and periodontal therapies
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care
• Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Hygienist Qualifications:
• Current dental hygienist license
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
• CPR Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience:
• Experience using dental technology such as Velscope, Diagnodent, and digital X-rays
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
• Clinical needs as required by the office
