Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

A Travel Nurse RN specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry combines the responsibilities of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing, providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. These nurses are skilled in monitoring patients' vital signs, managing post-operative care, and using advanced telemetry equipment to track heart rhythms and other critical indicators. • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP).
• 1 full year of RN experience; Diploma or Associate of Science... Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient condition and effectiveness of care and interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week

• Per Federal Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required before employment or request and approval for a valid religious or medical exemption.
• Unvaccinated employees with an approved exemption must submit to weekly COVID-19 testing and wear a respirator at all times while in the facility.

• Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Pay Range:

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
