Position: Business Director (Full-time, Contract)

Location: Antigua, Guatemala

About This Position: We are looking for a key team leader to direct operations and administration in Antigua, Guatemala. The Business Director will oversee financial and human resource management, procurement, logistics, legal compliance, and institutional governance. This role reports to the... Founder and the National Director and involves strategic advising, talent nurturing, and fostering a positive organizational culture. Ensuring transparency, accountability, and integrity in decision-making and financial practices is crucial. The director will collaborate closely with program teams to ensure optimal project implementation and support the efforts of the U.S.-based office.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Administrative Engineering, Public Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
• 5-10 years of experience in management and financial advisory roles, overseeing personnel and operations.
• Strategic negotiation, partnership building, data analysis and reporting, delegating, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Cultural sensitivity, ethical integrity, and accountability.
• Strong organizational and financial experience in nonprofit management, strategic planning and development, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
• Direct ANA’s strategic operations and legal affairs, ensuring compliance and effective operational strategies.
• Cultivate alliances to mobilize resources and enhance efficiency.
• Manage financial reporting, cash flow, and budget administration.
• Oversee human resources, procurement, and logistics.
• Provide critical legal guidance to reinforce compliance and inform strategic decisions.
