Summary...
Under the general supervision of management, the Front Desk Specialists maintain the daily functions of the Campground store / RV Park Office.
This position is responsible for essential duties of the retail operation and administrative assistant functions under the Campground Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to cash handling, light accounting, assisting with new and existing reservations, daily retail sales, and providing guests with excellent customer service via phone, online, and in person.

Greet guests/concierge:
provide information to the public by phone, online, and in-person about the facilities, pricing, reservations, programs, and other services.
Treat our customers and guests with respect - Be kind, courteous, and knowledgeable Take, modify and or cancel reservations.
Answer telephone calls, and relay messages efficiently and accurately.
Receive monies and fees for sites and services, post payments, and issue receipts.
Count and reconcile daily receipts with monies collected and prepares daily deposits.
Research discrepancies as needed Ensure guest issues and complaints are resolved promptly and thoroughly Seek to improve daily operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy Perform other related duties as assigned Recognize that we represent the Pismo Sands RV Park to all guests and the public KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in operating a computer, facsimile machine, copier, calculator, and other retail/office equipment Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal relations, a problem solver with the ability to own and manage all assigned tasks, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of campground programs, activities, and facilities is a plus, but not mandatory.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table, standing, or walking.
There could be sitting for prolonged periods of time; use of hands to count money; visual acuity to count money.
The employee occasionally lifts objects up to 35 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work is performed in an office and may be required to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and Holidays MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Some college experience preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Knowledge of POS software and facility rental/reservation software is strongly preferred, but not required Pleasant phone voice, excellent phone skills, professional appearance, and demeanor required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
Must adhere to all company policies and procedures and should be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of the San Luis Obispo County area, events, and activities preferred.
