About the Position: United States Postal Service (USPS) Mail Distribution Clerk is an important role within this organization which entails many different duties. As a clerk you are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of operation run seamlessly such as selling stamps; receiving & processing incoming mail; sorting & distributing mails; performing various clerical functions among others. You will be expected to interact with customers on behalf of Post Office by helping them complete change-of-address forms or managing their mail holds temporarily while they’re away among other general mailing needs which may arise from time-to-time.
