We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie - Butcher to be assigned to Marvida Royal Lagoons Family Hotel in Hurghada, Egypt, within Coral Group Hotels.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduated from Universities tourism, hotel management, gastronomy or equivalent departments,
• Previous experience in the culinary field required,
• At least 3 years of experience in Butchery operations,
• Highly experienced in A’la carte services,
• High persuasion and communication skills,
• Knowledgeable in Food Safety practices,
• Strong knowledge of Butchery productions,
• Previous experience with different meat and cuts,
• Strong leadership skills,
• Highly experienced in high volume production,
• Ability to adapt and work in a large multinational team,
• Have the ability to make quick decisions,
• Understanding of the foundation of guest service; ability and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our guests,
• Productive and open to development,
• Experience working with Quality Management... Systems,
• Advanced command of English and/or Arabic,
• Able to use MS Office applications effectively,
• No restrictions on domestic/international travel,
• For male candidates who are not related to military service.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• To maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage,
• Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for Butcher and/or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards, have proficiency in A’la carte processes,
• Work in coordination with the kitchen team to ensure service speed and quality,
• Ensure the team works in hygienic conditions,
• Manage the processes of cutting, trimming, cleaning, and preparing meat products,
• Meet the cost targets directed by the Executive Chef,
• Continually monitor the consumption of ingredients required for daily production and keep the Executive Chef informed regarding production needs,
• Continuously improving food preparation and presentations,
• Ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards and expectations,
• Liaising daily to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback,
• To consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
