Job Title: Legal Secretaries Employment Type: Contract
Work Hours: 22.5 hrs./week Work site: 100% On Site

Minimum Qualifications:
• Graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's and three (3) years' experience as a Legal secretary,
• Graduated from a standard senior high school and six (6) years' experience as a Legal secretary.
• Examine paper and/or electronic contracts and identify contract structure (Master Agreement/Contract/Amendment/Purchase Order, etc.) and contract terms.
• Identify and decipher document status; e.g., contract hierarchy (parent/child relationship), link contracts to correct relationships.
• Search contracts to identify required data fields for uploading to database.
• Create data file for each unique supplier by entering contract data into required fields on database.
• Verify data accuracy by comparing it to source documents.
• Convert supporting data from paper formats into .pdf format using optical scanner and/or computer software.
• Upload supporting data to its unique entry in the database.
• Sort and organize documents after entering data for review by team leader.
• Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
• Dispose of source data per the direction of team leader.
Preferred Skills:
• Candidates should have a working knowledge of contract terminology, including the ability to recognize contract structures, as well as, key contract terms.
• Familiarity with procurement contracts is a plus.
• Knowledge of government contracts is helpful but not required.
• Good communication skill is a must.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel is required.
• Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware and scanner.
• Detail oriented, accurate and thorough. strong attention to detail, a high level of quality, strong problem solving skills, dependability and demonstrated priority and time management skills.
• The consultants will work under the direction of the team leader and will be responsible for reviewing documents for completeness, identifying contract structure, key terms, and indexing this information into our database.
• They will also scan and link supporting documents to the supplier file.
Misc. Information:
• *Candidates must have reliable transportation as there is no public transportation near the work site.
• Free Parking available at the job location.
• Workdays are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Workdays may increase from 3 to 4 days at the high of the project and will likely decrease as the project winds down.
• Interviews will conduct via Zoom.
