eCommerce Manager (Digital Shelf

Support the omni marketing team in maintaining best-in-class digital shelf assets and maximizing product conversion across our eRetailer landscape. Work with agency partners to create, syndicate, and optimize product pages inclusive of images, marketing copy, and product reviews. This role’s priority is to drive organic growth of products which requires conversion-driving optimized product content and close partnership across the organization.

This is a Hybrid role, the incumbent needs to be commutable within 61-200 miles of our Battle Creek Michigan Head Quarter office. This person will be expected to be in office one consecutive Tuesday/Wednesday each month. Affiliated commuting expenses will be reimbursed. Remainder of work will be completed from remote home office.

Working Relationships
• Reports to the Director of Omni Marketing.
• Manages several agency relationships (Creative agency, Syndication agency).
• Peer relationships include sales and omni-commerce business leads, consumer affairs, IT.

• Build strategy and lead ongoing creation/maintenance of all product detail page assets for eRetailer websites, including product images, marketing copy, product reviews, and more.
• Primary contact for key internal (sales, marketing, IT) and external (agencies, retailers) stakeholders as it relates to managing and optimizing digital shelf across our retailer landscape.
• Lead agency relationships with creative agency who builds images/marketing copy and content syndication agency who supports in maintaining retailer connections. Ensure agency resources are utilized appropriately.
• Partner with third parties (i.e. Bazaar Voice, Power Reviews) to ensure there are ample positive reviews syndicated across retailers on new and existing items.
• Support new item setup process as new items are launched online and ensure all assets are flowing appropriately across the retailer landscape.
• Partner with brand marketing teams to understand key reasons to buy that should be amplified on retailer websites, including seasonal and promotional content updates.
• Analyze content scorecards through digital shelf analytics tool and ensure WK Kellogg’s is maintaining best-in-class scores on product content, share of search, reviews, and content compliance.


• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Marketing, Business, etc.)
• 3-5 years’ experience working in eCommerce, online merchandising/marketing, or website management.
• Direct experience working with content management/syndication platforms (Salsify, Syndigo) and measurement tools (Profitero) mandatory.
• Technical experience managing syndication and experience manipulating product information in other master data systems (SAP, GS1, 1WS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with omni-channel environments and/or eCommerce retail channels. Experience in grocery category preferred.
• Experience with SEO copywriting and eCommerce content creation.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel/PowerPoint.
• Energy and passion, a self-starter who is willing to operate at highly strategic as well as tactical levels.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability transform complex topics into compelling narratives for different audiences.
