As a Manager of Demand Planning, you will lead with us as you manage the long-term and short-term forecasting process for major brands within WK Kellogg Co portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Demand Planning, you will serve as a liaison between cross-functional business partners to ensure that all forecasts are accurate and necessary inputs are gathered. You’ll demonstrate successful forethought in forecasting and an owner’s mindset to drive big results.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Serving as a Forecasting Expert – Create, develop and produce demand forecasts through reviewing historical sales trends as well as marketing, sales and financial forecasts. We’ll rely on you to carefully prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results. Using your in-depth understanding of statistical forecasting models and variables, you’ll follow and identify forecasting principles and maintain forecasting information in the system.
• Collaborating and Guiding – Work hand in hand with the Supply Planning team, providing updates and analysis to promote continuous improvement. You’ll work with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Purchasing to ensure accurate current and long-term forecasting. You will also present and make suggestions to other cross-functional teams regarding demand and forecasts and provide direction to other demand managers. With a commitment to teamwork, you’ll achieve your goals!
• Analyzing and Measuring – Analyze internal demand stream information, categorizing it according to demand patterns and inputting sales and marketing intelligence into forecast systems. You’ll prepare and present various analyses of forecasting to different business unit leaders. Bring your in-depth understanding of consumption and shipment trends to successfully lead the monthly consensus process for your categories.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
• A degree in Economics, Math, Finance, Statistics, Business or Accounting preferred
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Detailed understanding of the objectives of the advanced forecasting and planning functions
• High proficiency in SAP IBP or similar database application technology (e.g. Demand Planning software such as: SAS Viya, CW, DDPO)
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, PowerBI), Access or similar software
• Strong presentation and influencing skills to communicate with C Suite leadership
• Strong experience with integrating activities across departments
• Experience at WK Kellogg Co or in trade promotions
• Prior experience with BW reporting APO / SNP, CRM or other SAP applications
