This individual will have direct ownership... of the creation, implementation through technology, and ongoing management of policies that govern the Walmart’s Global Marketplace & will cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships with a diverse range of internal teams, including Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering, to effectively bring our strategic plans to life.Key Responsibilities & ExpectationsPolicy Development - Identify and assess potential financial, operational & reputational risks to the platform and its users to develop, implement & manage policies that govern marketplace operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.Analytical Approach - Influence the development of data-driven insights to evaluate the impact & effectiveness of existing policies to identify areas of opportunity. Conduct & present thorough analysis to support policy development, evolution, and decision-making.Cross-functional collaboration - Bring together different departments or functional areas across the organization to drive collaboration & alignment on how to achieve common goals most effectively. Participate in & influence further develop of processes to support these outcomes and improve decision-making, problem solving & innovation between teams.Strategic problem solving - Bring a systematic approach to solving complex business problems where no single ‘right’ answer exists.
