• The project engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. The project engineer works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.

Objective:

Coordinates project schedules, development and progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers

to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
• Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
• Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
• Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
• Participate in kick-off meetings with... subcontractors to ensure common understanding of safety requirements, contract provisions, costs and change management requirements.
• Conduct briefing sessions for project team members with respect to project schedule requirements and processes.
• Prepare weekly project reports.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
• Degree in Engineering or Construction Science/Management or similar field.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in construction with three (3) years' in project management.
• Demonstrate capacity to complete project support, monitoring and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Knowledge or experience in Oil and Gas would be an advantage.
• Project management with an attention to detail.
