Job title: Support Services Lead

Location: Samlesbury – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary:£54,739 – £59,711 (Commensurate with skills and experience)

What You’ll Be Doing
• Coordinate the project set up for developing new support services in line with the Support & Services strategic vision, including the scoping, scheduling and resourcing artefacts
• Provide assurance of the service design and deployment as it is governed through the project Lifecycle process and provide reporting information for senior management progress reviews to enable effective decision making
• Provide coordination and guidance of service design and implementation to the cross-functional team who as the SME’s for their respective areas will be have the authority to approving the service solution and engaging with their operational stakeholders to ensure a smooth deployment into the live operational... environment
• Coordinate the deployment of the new services into each operational project team across the AIR lines of business, so that there is a seamless transition to the new service operation

Your Skills And Experiences
• Degree/HND qualified, or equivalent experience
• Project Management Experience with significant and varied working knowledge of scoping and developing services and managing their design, implementation and deployment into an extant business operation
• Knowledge of all of the Project Management activities and integration to enable the successful delivery of the service based project
• Previous experience of methodologies and techniques for service design and implementation that will include analysing, designing, benchmarking, developing and deploying services
• It is advantageous to have knowledge of the latest external Service design and operational management approaches to help implement a service capability from development through to deployment

The Support & Services Management Team

An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen within the Support & Services Management team for a Support Services Lead. You will be joining a team of 7 people within a wider team of 70.

This role offers the opportunity to scope and develop brand new support services, and then manage their setup, implementation, and deployment as we transform all of our AIR support capabilities as part of the once in a generation opportunity to transform the Support & Services business to take the business forward in line with the AIR 2035 strategic objectives.
