Key Responsibilities:
• Create feasible production plans taking into consideration available capacity, labor and materials, optimizing costs to produce.
• Review the production schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring it is meeting business requirements.
• Communicate and manage relationships with co-packers ensuring production plan and production schedule is adhering to stakeholder requirements.
• Determine material, equipment, and labor price and requirements
• Hold weekly meetings, keeping production team updated on changes and makings sure staff is engaging in best practices.
• Collaborate with warehouse, quality, procurement, and other departments as needed.
• Manage competing deadlines based on project expectations and requirements.
• Organize, and analyze production data to drive decision making and target greater efficiency.
• Recommending solutions aiming to resolve production issues, reduce production costs, and improve production... processes.
• Oversee investigations and resolutions with regards to raw material and finished good inventory discrepancies.
• Any other duties as necessary and assigned by the Operations Director

Education and Experience:
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Minimum 3 years’ of experience in food & beverage manufacturing (or pharmaceutical) environment.
• Experience with Tetra Pak is a strong asset*
• Bachelor’s Degree in management studies, operation management, or related field.
• Concrete understanding of manufacturing, inventory management, and distribution processes.
• Experience with production scheduling in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production and quality requirements/principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analyzation
• VBA as well as other programming/coding skills are an asset.
• Proficiency in PowerBI or similar software for data visualization is an asset.
• ERP software experience.
• Takes initiative, ensuing duties are completed.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a dynamic environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and projects
