We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience within compliance and a solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.

The focus of the role is to assist our clients in Financial Services Industry in implementing regulatory compliance where required throughout Financial Institutes such as Banking and Capital Markets / Insurance / NBFCs / AMCs etc.

to ensure complete compliance in all areas of the business.

Compliance Experience :
• Liaise with all relevant departments to ascertain current compliance levels.
• Provide training and education to team members regarding regulatory compliance.
• Ensure that all team members are aware of the procedures to be followed to adhere to compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular audits in all required areas to ascertain compliance levels.
• Develop and implement compliance improvement plans where required.
• Keep up to date with industry standards and... regulatory requirements.
• Design and orchestrate tasks to other departments to bring compliance levels up.
• Make reports, where necessary, to the governing body / bodies / board / departmental head
• Assist Regulatory Authorities with completing site visits and external audits.
• Prepare for, and conduct audits alongside external authorities

The candidate should have flair for and know-how of :

Practice Development and Management

Commercial acumen - Revenue management / cost and profitability awareness

Ability to manage risk and quality / independence aspects applicable for big-fours

Business development Relationship with Chief Compliance Officers of Banks / financial institutes

Leading proposal lifecycle and contracting

Building compliance team, solutions, offerings, COEs

Hands on experience of Compliance Tools and Technology (Oracle OFSAA, SAS GRC, ServiceNow, Archer, MetricStream and regulatory reporting tool such as Power BI or any other tool etc.)

Compliance related data sources / analysts’ sources that the banking industry use

Other Experience, skills and education background :
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Financial Services Industry other related field
• At least 10+ years of hands-on experience within a compliance-focused role
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Regulatory Authority’s policies, processes, and procedures
• Experience in auditing and recording information
• Excellent attention to detail and analysis abilities
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organized and capable of prioritizing own workload
• Well-developed delegation skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office
