Account Manager

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based in Burton on Trent, for an experienced Account Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, award winning, asset management client who offer genuine progression opportunities to their employees.

In this role, you will spend a lot of time on the phone, and outside of peak call times you'll issue emails and information to customers, keep the customer database fully up to date and work with internal teams to handover customer details to ensure efficient after-sales care and processing.

You will need to have strong communication and written skills along with the ability to work as part of a team.

We are looking for candidates with previous Sales/Business Development/Telesales/Call Centre or Customer Service experience, ideally in IT/Technology, however structured training will be provided.

About the role:
• Speaking to new and existing clients by phone
• Providing information... and support to clients
• Providing follow up reporting and compliance
• Develop new accounts by phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Work independently and as a member of a team

Hours and Pay:
• Monday to Thursday 9am till 4:30pm
• Friday 9am till 4pm
• Salary around £25,000 - dependent on experience
• 10% Commission
• Full time, permanent position

About you:
• Previous Customer Service or Sales experience in a technical environment (IT or Technology) - Advantageous
• Self-motivated
• Proficient in managing customer relationships
• Outstanding communication skills
• Competent IT and web skills
